Ramsgate is a popular seaside town located on the north eastern tip of Kent, England. Situated in the Isle of Thanet, Ramsgate has the UK's only Royal Harbour Marina and hosts a wonderful blend of maritime heritage, architectural finery and cosmopolitan style.

Once a busy fishing port, the harbour is now home to yachts, independent shops and an array of bars, cafes and restaurants. It's a great place to sit at a pavement table and watch the world go by whilst you plan your days activities.

The town is rich in historical associations; Queen Victoria visited as a child, Augustus Pugin, famous for designing the interiors of the Houses of Parliament built his home here and Vincent van Gogh lived in Spencer Square.

Part of the mainland since the end of the 17th century, the Isle of Thanet boasts 26 miles of beautiful coastline, some of it just 100m from our front door and the majority accessible on foot or on two wheels.

We have 15 beautiful beaches and bays, 3 of which have a prestigious Blue Flag award and a further 7 have Quality Coast Awards, including Ramsgate Main sands.

What's more, Ramsgate is just over 1 hour from the M25 by car and only 1 hour 16 minutes from London St Pancras train station.

About Redcot House

Our bedrooms, bathrooms and breakfast lounge have been individually styled with our guests in mind and with no more than four guests at a time, Redcot House isn't just luxury, it's peaceful luxury.

Our aim is to provide you with first class accommodation, great food and excellent customer service.

We have two large double rooms with en-suite, both rooms have king size beds with feather and down duvets, free Wi-Fi and all the facilities you would expect to find in a Boutique B&B.

We have a passion for good food and our Kentish breakfasts include locally made sausages, free-range eggs, homemade breads, croissants, brioche, smoothies and jams. And you help you unwind after your journey, we serve homemade cakes as you settle in. 

But we know everyone's different so we endeavour to cater for all tastes and dietary needs, just let us know.
